I wrote this composition in homage to Spiegel im Spiegel written by Arvo Pärt, just after having several concerts with that piece throughout in Japan and Sweden with a violinist Yuki Tashiro in 2016.

Spiegel im Spiegel is Yuki’s one of the favorite repertories, as well as mine. But I had even never heard of the composer’s name by then.
More over, Yuki and I played my original compositions, improvisation and other things.
We also played my favorite Frank Zappa’s tune in an old, beautiful church in Gothenburg, I refrained from announcing the title ‘ G-Spot Tornado’ though.

I think it makes things so exciting, that we have a different musical backgrounds and it blends together in. Yuki has classical one, I’ve been based on some kind of jazz.

All the creation and tour was extremly great experience to me, so I’m longing for the next chance is coming SOON.
